Years ago there was a program which would take text and turn it into a travesty of itself. It looked for patterns in text an then substituted at random points. I have been trying to find this "travesty generator" for a while, but I finally encountered it last week.

While generating a travesty of an iPhone manual or a political speech can be amusing, it's especially fun if you drop in an erotic story, because the language makes some very out of place fragments. E.g. I just "travestized" the last part of Business Sense and the output included this gem: She shrugged, helplessly. "I'm not going to Barb and Frank on his bare ass."

I'm not sure I'll make this a full-time feature, but as a Special Bonus! for readers of the forum, find a story, then go to the URL bar and add ?trav=7 to the end. The number can be anything. Lower numbers give so much garbling that the source is unrecognizable, but the letter groupings have the sense of being words, even though they're not, like: "Fined make Jenna. I befords befor of coff begistmas about exploding recided fading to have when, it call the the though the shously own thost-Chrill dislighs, and I've ther see ship break looking sing Jenna's for into which I knew why?" as I discove after. Ther drama lanna reade me card top effords as prehen tuitinter bar, and her parathy. (That's trav=3.)

Higher numbers leave the text largely unchanged, but you read a sentence and it's suddenly gone off into space, and the girls' dancing includes feeding grass to cows...
