There's a new story up. Rebirth is a story I started writing before Mentor but the timing wasn't working out. As I'm planning the next set of stories in the Helenverse I realized that Rebirth would fit very nicely, although at this point there's no connection. And now, three years after starting on it, the timing works.
There's one significant disconnect between Mentor and Rebirth. Rebirth is set in the real world with significant points dependent on the pandemic. I set other stories firmly in the pandemic, like Dog Days and Quarantine which is entirely dependent on masks, pods, and the risk of infection in a world before vaccines, but I didn't refer to it at all in Mentor, because of the way it would complicate the world.
So now Rebirth sets up a big consistency hole, and I guess we just have to assume that the pandemic did happen in the Gabby's universe, but somehow we managed to fit all of the relevant events around that space between lockdowns and masking beginning and the vaccine being distributed.
Anyway, Rebirth is long. Almost twice as long as Dog Days, which was the longest non-series story before now. (Of course Mentor is longer, but it's an 18 chapter series.) Bonds of Friendship, Rider and The Player are each only about 2/3 as long as Rebirth, in spinte of being 4 or 5 part series.
Also TW: for death and grief.
Edit: I'm going to split it into chapters anyway. I wanted to keep a single long story on Literotica but there's no reason I have to have the same format here, and since I don't have pages it would make more sense to break it up.
