The update is in place. I'll keep an eye on logs for a few days, but please let me know if you see problems. There were serious teething troubles with the RSS feeds, so if you've had bogus updates, I apologize.
I have left the "mobile stories" link in place since it's used quite a lot and if it's working for you, that's fine. It should no longer be needed, though. The main stories link is now optimized for mobile devices, and without the fixed format of mobile stories.
I've changed the way the age acknowledgement works. It uses a cookie, which is not really a privacy problem, since there's no way to track the cookie, but there are legitimate concerns about the uses that website operators can find for cookies, so there's now an alternate path that allows you to click an acknowledgement link without setting a cookie. If you don't have a cookie set for the site (or if it has expired), then the acknowledgement page will pop up on any bookmarks, but will take you through to the bookmarked page as soon as you follow the included link or click OK.
That's the riskiest part of the changes, and if there are errors, that's where I expect them to be. Again, please let me know if there are problems.
